Latest polling finds Republican primary for governor still a toss up

The poll of 501 Republican primary voters finds James Comer leading the pack with 28 percent, Hal Heiner with 27 percent, and Matt Bevin at 25 percent. The survey has a margin or error of +/- of 4.4 percent, placing the top three candidates neck and neck.

After the polling fiasco in the UK, I'm not trusting any polls except maybe elections.

This is just a primary anyway so it is impossible to poll. But the real election is in November anyway.

Polling in the UK this last election was worse than useless. It was certainly an eye-opener for a lot of folks.

The story is a waste of time and in particular the headline for failing to say it was for governor of Kentucky. Like other polls, it is one man’s opinion versus another. As I said, “waste of time” as the real story will be the day AFTER the election then, only history will be important.
