The San Bernardino County Sheriffs Department on Monday identified the deputies involved in the arrest and beating of an Apple Valley man that was caught on video in April.
The deputies were attempting to serve a search warrant on April 9 when 30-year-old Francis Pusok fled on foot, and then on horseback.
Helicopter footage from KNBC captured the end of the chase, showing Pusok fall off his horse before sheriffs deputies used a Taser and beat him, appearing to both kick and punch him repeatedly.

$650k. Wonder if it comes out of sheriffs dept for all of San Bernardino County or Apple Valley? Those deputies should have to pay. That’s a huge chunk of our budget.
The important thing is what happens to the sheriffs, prison time, jail time, or merely getting fired?
Those deputies should have to pay.
That’s pretty funny, nothing will happen to them, paid suspension, then Workers Comp for the traumatic injuries and emotional distress they received as a result of that harrowing chase they were involved in.
A couple of cops want to serve a search warrant
The perp runs
(I'm thinking) the cops give chase
somehow a horse enters the picture and the perp hops on
cops still chasing and call for backup
the perp is drunk and falls off his horse
very pissed off cops catch up and proceed to educate the perp that he shouldn't have put them through all that grief
somehow the schooling gets filmed but no one knows what transpired before class
THEN the cops wimp out by;
The sole purpose of this agreement for both parties is to avoid the costs involved in litigation, board Chairman James Ramos said in a statement at the time of the vote. This agreement is a fair outcome for everyone involved, including the taxpayers.
SEE what the F'n muzzies and racist bastards have done to us ??????
Until further notice, I say ... back off of the cops .... because when they've had enough ... they have more firepower, and more backup than any minority neighborhood and the only thing that stops them (at this point in time) is a still rooted respect for something called law.
YOU chase a punk for (I don't know how far) in the sweltering summer (california has no water .. ) only to be made to look like a fool because the perp got on a horse.
YOU'D give him a few kicks too.
No, I wouldn’t beat him after he lay on the ground and put his hands behind him already in the cuffed position, and I most certainly would not have casually joined in the beating as I just walked up later.
You have to be pretty sick to think like that, are you really that kind of guy?
These weren’t even ‘just guys’, they were law enforcement in uniform and on duty, at work, evidently they don’t belong in this line of work.
I just saw this for the first time and I EXPLAINED there was close to no detail from THAT article
No, I'm not a sick bastard, but I am a man ... and I know a man, when cornered or aggravated beyond a point just starts hittin' things and if one of those things happens to be the one that pissed you off .. (kind'a like the flavor of your remark to ME ..) one of us is going to feel justified in popping the other ...
and you know it.
Here he is totally submitting and it is over, before the sheriffs reached him, he put his hands behind his back in the already handcuffed position.
Both stupids ...
perp seemed to be fighting back (THAT'S how to make friends with a cop) and other cops came in to further subdue him
the vid isn't really clear that they HAD gotten him cuffed
He didn’t resist, before they put his hands on him he already had put his hands behind him only 2 or 3 seconds after that photo I posted, and was clasping them for handcuffing.
Then the beating started, and the mob started showing up.
I don't want the job, but criminals are bolder now since the enabler entered the white mosque ...
I hope the cops fight back (I know .. already settled) and they get at least a chance to tell their side
right now I hate ******s and muzzies and obama and its administraton
If you want more effective police, then keep them, or get them, under control.
Letting them and their unions and their control of city politics, and the looting of tax revenues take over, and then to start supporting their corruption and indulging their beating whims and illegal shootings, is not the way to improve the situation.
“perp seemed to be fighting back (THAT’S how to make friends with a cop) and other cops came in to further subdue him”
So that means it was totally justifiable to kick him repeatedly in the nuts? Your idea of “further subduing a guy is to literally break his balls? Ansell is right, you need to have your head examined if you think what these cretins with a badge did to this man was somehow warranted. To me, for the BoS to cut loose $650k within days of the “event” says it all, and then you have the $hitassed cops union acting like a cat covering crap. And you can bet that the cops union would have spent a bundle if the county had let the matter go to trial. What is most telling, is that in a group of ten or more “officers,” there wasn’t one of them who stayed out of the free for all. Apparently in that august group, there wasn’t even one of them who tried to stop what was going on. They were on this poor bastard like a pack of hungry dogs! What I want to know is are they all looking for work somewhere else? Are any of them going to face criminal charges?
Hey knarf, go take a gander at this video.

This guy is finally in court after more that three years, and after the State AG pulling every $hitty trick in the book, they are now looking at “settling” rather than going to trial.
The problem is that the guilty CHP officers will probably skate as part of the settlement. When you look at what happened it should probably have been charged as attempted murder under color of authority. and I’m pi$$ed off because the money doled out came out of my pocket as a taxpayer, just like in this case in San Bernardino.
Yeah - I know such a "man" - he recently beat the tar out of his wife because she pissed him off. He knows not to come around y house because I am more in tune with what a real man does to those that beat on the weak after the weak has been effectively subdued.
Have you ever been in a real fight?
Yes ... I've had my ass kicked more than I've kicked ... but that was 55 years ago.
MY comment started with (essentially), my interpretation based on the LACK OF facts and data in the article posted
I surmised a scenario and all you bad asses jumped on me because I posed a scenareo you didn't agree with becauser you had seen a video THAT WAS NOT LINKED IN THE ARTICLE POSTED
I'm not gonna' get into a pissing match with you or anyone else that develop argument without my having the benefit of discovery
And now ... because I'm pissed off ... and there are WAAAYYYY more important matters my mind needs to focus ... and because I know a bully when I see one ... I'm out'a here
