So now we can not make any "demands" from an airline that we are paying $1000s for a ticket? The mom asked for a simple hot meal for her disabled child and the male attendant ran screaming to the pilot. "I asked if I can purchase something hot for my daughter and [the first class flight attendant] said no" she said. "I called him back over and I said to him, 'Please, help us out here,'" but he again refused. "He came back again and I said, 'I have a child with special needs, I need to get her something.' And he said, 'I can't do that,'" she explained. "I said, 'How about we wait for her to have a meltdown, she'll be crying and trying to scratch in frustration. I don't want her to get to that point.'"

She didn’t pay thousands. If she had (LIKE SHE SHOULD) flown first class, she would have had a hot meal. I like hot meals too, but don’t want to pay first class prices to get them.
She KNOWS her daughter has issues and tried to cheap out, then threatened the airline with violence from her kid. Sorry no sympathy here.
(Note, I live with a mentally disable adult, my wife’s sister for the past 15 years)
