Saudi monarch’s decision signals that the Arab states aren’t on board with nuclear accord

Saudi Arabia’s monarch pulled out of a summit to be hosted by President Barack Obama on Thursday, in a blow to the White House’s efforts to build Arab support for a nuclear accord with Iran.

King Salman’s decision appeared to ripple across the Persian Gulf. Bahrain said on Sunday that its ruler, King Hamad bin Isaa Al Khalifa, had opted not to travel to Washington.

The only two monarchs from the six countries confirmed to attend the summit at the White House and the presidential retreat at Camp David, Md., were the emirs of Qatar and Kuwait.

By the way, I APPLAUD these Muslim leaders for snubbing Obama and his lies.

They, like Netanyahu, realize BO is not worth following.

Too bad much of America (and 99% of the media) doesn’t realize the truth.

they are showing their flexibility with dealings with Washington. Kuwait is still attached at the hip to the US and must jump when told. But anyone who thinks this will deter Obama from surrendering to Iran is crazy.

These leaders know they can’t trust a thing Obama says and that he’s very thin skinned. Thus, they want to avoid being put in a situation where they have to either confront him to his face or just play along nodding in pretend agreement which can later be used against them.

The Sunni Arab nations could not depend on Obama when the chips were down in Yemen. They were able to form a coalition within days, to mobilize on their own. Gives them a certain comfort level I believe, to move forward without the Great Satan.

So this is a snub, for sure, but a bigger backfire, in that Obama has inadvertently succeeded in aligning the issues of the Sunni Arab states with those of Israel.

We have here a new Middle Eastern order, in which Iran loses, and America loses. Just like the American people, the Arabs are just waiting for Obama to leave. This upcoming summit will be difficult for the media to spin as anything other than (another) PR boondoggle.

It will be up to the public to spread the word of Obama’s latest boondoggle. Will the conservatives take advantage of this resounding call for Common Sense in dealing with the war mongering Iran, or will they be squashed by the Republican “establishment” who support Obama as has been the case repeatedly?
