"From the Guns & Gear Studio"
It's a "Guns & Gear" Sunday, this week on Tom Gresham's GUNTALK® Radio, the original nationally-syndicated radio talk show about guns and the shooting sports.
The past few weeks, Tom Gresham has been busy in a Southeast Louisiana TV studio filming the upcoming seventh season of Guns & Gear, (http://www.gunsandgeartv.com). Representatives from a variety of companies were in the studio each day filming their segments. While there, Tom and his guests sat down to talk shop, and decided to make a radio show out of it - and film that, too!
Tune in Sunday to hear from LaserLyte's Aaron Moore, DoubleTap Ammunition's Mike McNett, Timney Triggers' John Vehr, the Sig Sauer crew of Bud Fini, John Hollister, Eric Vonbosse and John Brasseur, Stag Arms' Nick Discenza, Barnes Bullets' Jessica Brooks-Stevens, Mossberg's Dave Miles, and Jens Krogh from STI.
And check out GUNTALK's YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/guntalktv) and Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/guntalkmedia) pages to watch the show this Sunday, as well.
Don't forget to enter to win an AccuPoint® 1-6x24 Riflescope Standard Duplex Crosshair with Green Dot from Trijicon, Inc., (https://www.trijicon.com)! Sign up for the Truth Squad newsletter and enter at http://www.guntalk.com/win, through May 29th, 2015.
Howdy CH.
Hey CH
Evening and welcome.
Hi, Stonewall.
Been reloading shot shells for the Gamo Viper Express. Got the parts
here. http://www.ray-vin.com Now if I can only find a .22 cal. wad punch to make the wads.
Is this the Double Tap guy talking about 10mm ammo?
MRE Depot is running a special on Yoder’s Canned Bacon, regurlarly $136.99, for 20% off, dropping the price to $136.95 for a case of 12 cans. Each can hold 40-50 slices of cooked and drained delicious bacon, for your “Prepper Stores”, or just for quick making BLTs. That’s 3-lbs of bacon in a can for $11.41, plus shipping. I snack on it all the time, after transferring to Glad Plastic Containers, and keeping it in the ‘fridge. Mmmmmmmmmmm, BLTs...

I still have 3 of 5 cases left from a purchase in fall 2013, using a lot myself and giving away cans to family and friends. Back then, the price was $129.99 and the discount dropped it to $95.99, a price we’ll not see again.
Use the promo code: ‘Bacon20’ to get the discount at checkout, if you buy.
That would work if it was the correct size. It has to be the diameter of a .22 bullet. Monday I’m going to call some companies that can make one custom, I just hope I don’t have to buy 1000 units to get one made.
TYPO in previous post:
Yoders Canned Bacon, regularly $136.99
Should be: regularly $169.95
Yeah thanks, I’ve checked them out too. .22 shot shells are crimped at the end so there’s no need for a wad.
Do you remember “Moskeet” at Boy Scout Camp? Mini clay pigeons and a .22 cal shotgun? It’s gone the way of the Dodo bird. I’d buy one for the backyard and shoot with my Viper air shotgun and no one would know. I don’t know where to find Moskeet much less a thrower.
Winchester Model 94, long octagonal barrel takedown model, not much bluing left, straight grip stock with some dings but all original with excellent bore. 30-30 caliber with 1895 serial number. I know it’s hard to estimate without looking, but anyone have a ball park idea of value? Thanks.
Looks like the .22 wad punch on that company’s page isn’t available yet. Give them a call and say you’d like to do some “prototype testing” with one of their pre-release units; maybe they’ll ship you one to try. Couldn’t hurt...
Hey up gun nut doodz!
50 cal smokepole was doing that a few years ago. He posted in the old gun talk threads how he did it. Might be worth looking back to see. He used to call it his football bat.
