One of the reasons the SA was done away with, was that Rohm and their leadership were hardcore socialists, who really wanted a total revolution in Germany, and the overthrow of the business class.
When Hitler eliminated them, the industrialists gave him their support. But there were many hardcore socialists in the Nazi Party, Goebbels and Robert Ley, chief among them.
The SA wasn’t actually disbanded till May, 1945.
