Well! ....Gee! Producing a certified birth certificate for about $10 to $20 would simply clear the matter completely.

No...Instead, we have thousands ( possibly more than a million) spent in court to prevent the release of a simple court acceptable document. That is a **fact**. It happened.

In Wintertime world that is indeed a “fact.”

In the larger world, Barack Obama spent the $10 and posted his official state of Hawaii birth certificate on the Internet for the whole wide world to see on June 10, 2008. That wasn’t good enough for some people so he spent another $10 and posted a copy of his long form birth certificate on the Internet for the whole wide world to see on April 27, 2011.

To back that up, the state of Hawaii has issued seven official verification statements for Barack Obama’s birth records:
1) The first authenticity statement by Hawaii Department of Health Director Dr. Chiyome Fukino, MD. Issued October 31, 2008:

2) Second authenticity statement by Dr. Chiyome Fukino, MD. Issued July 27, 2009:

3) Televised interview with Dr. Fukino on Obama birth certificate authenticity.

6) Certified Letter of Verification from Registrar Alvin T. Onaka for Kansas Secretary of State:

7) Certified Letter of Verification prepared at the request of the defense from Registrar Alvin T. Onaka for Mississippi eligibility challenge, U.S. District Court Judge Henry T. Wingate, Southern District of Mississippi:

and the Republican Governor of Hawaii from 2006 to 2010, Linda Lingle did a radio interview and addressed the Obama birthplace issue:

Additionally there have been 226 court proceedings or state elections board hearings, 96 state and federal appellate or state supreme court court rulings and 26 appeals to the Supreme Court of the United States. There has never been a court ruling or a uling by a state election board that Barack Obama was not born in the United States.

A federal judge who ruled on Obama’s eligibility summed this issue up rather succinctly: “The Court observes that the President defeated seven opponents in a grueling campaign for his party’s nomination that lasted more than eighteen months and cost those opponents well over $300 million. Then the President faced a formidable opponent in the general election who received $84 million to conduct his general election campaign against the President. It would appear that ample opportunity existed for discovery of evidence that would support any contention that the President was not eligible for the office he sought. Furthermore, Congress is apparently satisfied that the President is qualified to serve. Congress has not initiated impeachment proceedings, and, in fact, the House of Representatives, in a broad bipartisan manner has rejected the suggestion that the President is not eligible for office. See H.R. Res. 593, 111th Congress. (2009) commemorating, by a vote of 378-0 the 50th anniversary of Hawaii’s statehood and stating ‘The 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama, was born in Hawaii on August 4, 1961.’”— U.S. District Court Judge David O. Carter, Barnett, et. al. v Obama, et. al., Central District of California
