There is something very troubling about the announcement by Baltimores prosecuting attorney of criminal charges against six Baltimore police officers in the death of Freddie Gray.
Although the prosecuting attorney, officially the state attorney for Baltimore, Marilyn J, Mosby, went on at great length in an effort to explain the alleged facts in the context of the criminal law, she also made it clear her primary goal was not to inform the public about the court proceedings to follow but rather to assuage the fury of the mobs in Baltimores streets, and that she was speaking directly to their anger:
To the people of Baltimore and the demonstrators across America: I heard your call for No justice, no peace. Last but certainly not least, to the youth of the city: I will seek justice on your behalf. This is a moment. This is your moment. Lets ensure we have peaceful and productive rallies that will develop structural and systemic changes for generations to come. Youre at the forefront of this cause and as young people, our time is now.
It is hard to believe that absent the rioters in the streets Ms. Mosby would have so animatedly alleged many of the things she did about the mindset of the officers a bare two weeks after the death of Mr. Grey and without the benefit of a grand jury investigation.
The case is a difficult one to prove in any event, since the charges are essentially that the police were indifferent to the plight of Mr. Grey, not that they took action to harm him.
But did they know the extent of his vulnerability? Were they aware of what he was experiencing in the back of that police van without police supervision? And what about the fact that the only witnesses with firsthand knowledge may well be the police officers themselves?
Beyond the particulars of this tragic death, however, we should all be concerned about the possibility that a criminal prosecution in a major American city is being driven by fear of mobs in the street. Ms. Mosby did us all a disservice, especially given the facts of the case.
Consider that Ms. Mosby is African American. The mayor of Baltimore is African American. The police commissioner is African American. And three of the six police officers who were charged are African-American. And most the rioters had to have known that.
Thus, while there has been much debate and dismay over police abuse of African American young men, this was not the typical scenario and it was not necessary for Ms. Mosby to have addressed that issue. We all would have been better served had she cut out the rhetoric and hyperbole and limited her remarks to matter-of-factly assuring all Baltimoreans of her determination to seek justice.
Most of the intelligent and decent people have left Baltimore. What’s left behind is a mob of low IQ, dysfunctional black Democrats.
This is why the Interstate Highway System has routes around the hearts of our major cities. They are not going away. But with American politics in its current form we cannot help them. All we can do is ignore them and avoid them.
First of all, abusive cops abuse without prejudice. Second, "young men" don't get into trouble with the police.
yeah, no.
The Baltimore mayor’s response to this situation is little different from the federal government’s as well as well the media’s approach to islam, assuage the anger out of fear of reprisal.
I was kind of kidding. Sort of...
The author seems to imply she is incompetent, rather she part of a larger plan...which means she has an agenda...
Well, it would imply a brilliance of forethought on the part of our overlords...
From listening to things she said on the news, I would say that it is a combination of both. She is incompetent and does have an agenda. If she was working on the level her natural abilities took her to, she would not be working. There is no job she could perform, not even cleaning toilets. She reached the position[s] where she now is simply and solely through Affirmative Action. In other words, If she was placed in an environment where she survived or died based on how she could adapt or did, she would die.
But...but...Michele Obama said we have to factor in the "feeling of invisibility and unrelenting poverty"......plus the subjugation experienced, being at the mercy of laws made by evil white men.
Not to mention $17 trillion tax dollars dollars spent on countless minority govt programs billed as "fighting the war on poverty."
She looks like a mouth-breathing, zombified, dull normal with dead eyes.
THIS JUST IN--(CNN) - Attorneys for the Baltimore police officers charged in the death of Freddie Gray have filed a motion calling for the recusal or dismissal of State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby's office from prosecuting the case against the six officers.
The lengthy legal motion cites a variety of concerns, including conflicts of interest and questions about the office's independent investigation. Copyright 2015 by CNN NewSource. All rights reserved. This material may not be published, broadcast, rewritten or redistributed.

=============================================
FACTS ON FILE The city of Baltimore received over $1.8 billion from President Barack Obamas stimulus law, including $467.1 million to invest in education and $26.5 million for crime prevention. Baltimore has spent the third-highest amount per student in education at an average of $15,287, only 16% of the citys eighth graders score at or above reading level and 13% at or above grade level in math---
This explains the rampant adult illiteracy .....from Cong Cummings, the Prosecutor, her councilman hubby, the Mayor, the Police Commissioner...... who all blamed the cops for the looting and burning.....
If anyone should ever wonder why the world no longer takes this country serious, just look at the words coming out of black politician’s mouths. From their president down to their dog catcher, you hear the same tripe and the world laughs.
I've found if you "feel invisible"...do something notable in service to OTHERS. If you have "unrelenting poverty"....get a job. No matter how menial... you work as if it pays executive level. It WILL get noticed and people will be clamoring to hire you for better positions. MO has a horrific case of crab bucket syndrome and is demeaning to those of color who have fought to better themselves. Donated tax $$ doesn't promote pride or initiative.
Baltimore has turned into a national disgrace of epic proportions. This mess unfortunately implies that black leaders cannot lead and will not fairly judge all people impartially. Most racist city ever. Ferguson runs a close second.

Well, that certainly worked quite well....
