GREENVILLE, S.C. Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker took shots at President Obamas national security policies at the Citizens United Freedom Summit. Walker mentioned he was on his way to Israel to speak to Benjamin Netanyahu and others during his trip and noted how emotional he becomes when he sees reports of terrorism.
Its something I feel passionate about. You see people are very concerned about safety them selves and their family coworkers and their fellow citizens because of what we see around the world. Not just in the Middle Mast but now we see in other parts of the world. Even here on American soil.
When I watch a Jordanian pilot burned alive in a cage when I see Christians in Egypt and else where in the world shot or beheaded just because of their faith, theres something I feel right here, he said. You feel it in your heart and soul. You dont read about it. National security is something you read about in a newspaper. Safety is something you feel.
You start to worry its not just about something else around the world. Its something that can happen anywhere France, Belgium, and Canada, and Texas. It can happen anywhere in the world,..

I provide links to give information (I try not to editorialize).
If you are too lazy to check them out, you’re the one who is waiting to be spoon fed.
It’s a waste of my time, since it’s obvious you don’t like the “strained mixed vegetables” I’m promoting - like a child who refuses to take even a small bite to see how they taste.
I’m not going to make airplane noises so that you’ll open your mouth.
I want voters to listen to Walker’s speech because they’ll most likely respond as the SC audience did.
there are multiple links to several speeches in this thread.
It’s arrogant and snotty scumbags like you that may make me change from Cruz to Walker. What a f* twit you are.
Hrm...shouldnt it be the policies, positions, and track record of a politician be the factor and not what someone says on a website?
Just sayin’
Too much "sayin'" and not enough listening and learning goin' on.
Please do attempt to school me...my comment was directed at a specific statement.
My support will be earned....regardless who wins the circular firing squad.
I wouldn’t attempt to school you on anything, that would take a willingness on your part to learn something.
As to “winning the circular firing squad:” Who began “the sniper fire” on this thread (as always is the case)?
You seem to take the position that even the smallest of defenses is an attack.
Cruz thinks he can win the general by energizing the evangelicals specifically and the conservatives in general. He may be correct. Both candidates are leaders, but they show it in different ways.
I'm offended when cheap shots are taken at Walker, which happens often in the most snide and arrogant ways and I am just sick of it. Max should spend his time working for Cruz, not being a twit on Walker threads.
The fact is this website has gone downhill big time in the last some years to become dominated by low information surfers, who can't compose anything more than one or two sentences of incomplete thought. Max caught me at a bad moment, I guess. But here we are as a nation crumbling by the day, and Max is focusing his energy against the good guys. What a waste of tissue.
And to answer your question, yes, policy matters and since I like both of them, supporters can make a difference in how candidates are perceived. What kind of supporters do they attract? Are they the insufferable bores one can barely tolerate or positive, take charge supporters that make it fun to go to battle? Guess which candidate has the edge on that one?
Wild assumption on your part. As to winning the circular firing squad: Who began the sniper fire on this thread (as always is the case)?
I was refering to the primaries....sorry if that went by you somehow. You seem to take the position that even the smallest of defenses is an attack.
LOL...I was refering to switching support from one canidate to another based on a forum post on a website...and now you seem to wish to drag me into the argument.
Hero?
That is a bit of an overstatement.
Sorry I reserve such status for those who risk their lives serving in the armed forces or those who lay their lives on the line protecting the public.
While I like Walker as well...he is a politician.
You’re just out of sorts because Scott Walker is in Israel (showing support and visiting with their leadership) until Thursday.
Cruz/Walker. Walker/Cruz perhaps Rubio. All OK with me.
Me? Refuse to vet Walker?
You're serious? How is posting to articles and statements (good, bad and indifferent) on his history and positions (past, present and possible future) not vetting him?
The only reason (I've noticed) that posters make nonsensical pronouncements like "Walker's supporters refuse to vet him," stems from a need to divert attention away from their candidate (and their candidate's thin, yet revealing, resume).
What the hell does that mean?
You accusing me of being a Jew hater or something?
Boy, you sure leap your chain.
I noticed that you’re a Paul supporter.
Is he a Jew hater?
So give me something Walker said in his speech that matches this article that pins
him down to his standing on the issues and what HE will do about it if elected..
Is that an attack? No, it's a legitimate concern for many voters. Stop making this about you.
Where the HELL did you get the F’d up Idea that I am a Paul supporter!?!
Ron Paul is a fickin loon and so is his Kid.
Lady you are seriously barking up a VERY wrong tree.
Post your proof that I support either paul in ANY way.
You are Way out of line!
