I take it you have never seen Spooky or Puff do their thing? Quite different from what the A-10 does or can do.

If you are pinned down at night and about to be overrun, this is what you want overhead.

One of these mounted on a flatbed with stabilization feet could be a really badboy. Of course the ammo humpers would hate it.
