Hillary Clinton Shows New Willingness to Tackle Risky Issues
New York Times ^ | May 7, 2015 | Patrick Healy

It has been only three weeks since Hillary Rodham Clinton declared her candidacy for the White House, but she already looks more confident than she did during the almost 17 months of her last campaign.

Sure, no serious rival has yet emerged to get under her skin the way Barack Obama did in 2008. But Mrs. Clinton and her team have also shown a determination not to be thrown off course: not by the blowback on her use of personal email while at the State Department, not by reports critical of the Clinton Foundation, nor by congressional investigations of the 2012 attacks in Benghazi, Libya.

Hillary Clinton Shows New Willingness to Tackle Risky Issues

Willing to tackle risky, focus group approved issues, but unwilling to answer any questions?

Having worked at a small midwestern daily about 35 years ago, I can tell you exactly what this “article” is — it’s marching orders for editorial writers at small midwestern dailies. At my paper, the editorial writer sat at his desk with his hands in his pants until that day’s New York Times came into the office. Then he’d practically jump over his desk to get at it so he could paraphrase it for his own editorial in the next day’s edition. It was frightening to me that someone would have spent four years getting a journalism degree at Penn State only to take such a low-rent approach to his craft. But... I was young and naive back then. I’ll bet it’s way worse now.

LMAO!!!! Not thrown off course??? Wait until Übershrew is peppered with real questions in a media interview. Good God, these propagandists are over the top with their adoration for that woman.

It’s like the WSJ’s ‘Two Papers In One!’ feature.

The NYT has a contemporaneous column complaining about Hillary’s refusal to answer questions.

And how, exactly, is telling wetbacks they will receive welfare once they vote for Democrats ‘risky?’

Yes - So true, so true. But 500 or 800 or 1500 midwest papers DO use this kind of propaganda to “show support” and to firm up the base of her believers.

And “attacks” are forbidden on her. “Allegations and accusations” are all that Hillary’s opponents can make - never facts, never bribery, never paybacks. Those words can never be printed in these 1500 midwest papers.

LOL. Oh, please, stop!! This is too much even from the New York Times.

What risky issues? Is she finally going to talk about her money-grubbing and ethical scandals????
