If someone commits a felony, there should be severe consequences.

If someone doesn’t like losing their right to vote, they shouldn’t commit a felony.

If they have paid their debt to society, it should be over, not drug out for the rest of their life.

That is a life sentence. And it needs to be reflected appropriately.

So, commit a felony that requires a life sentence, add the death penalty to it, because under your scheme, the punishment is NEVER over.

We call that a life sentence.

And don't get me wrong. I think some activities deserve the death penalty and a life-time of punishment. Things like molestation or armed robbery.

They need dirt naps. In a perfect world, while the crime is being committed.
