Thats a question Peter Lloyd tackles in a series in Londons Daily Mail about Britains marriage rate, which is at its lowest level since 1895. The state of matrimony is not just ailing. It is dying out faster than a mobile phone battery, Lloyd writes. For an army of women, Mr. Right is simply not there, no matter how hard they look for him.

Because if men wanted to marry someone with a man’s attitude, they’d just go gay and be done with it.
Or if men wanted to marry someone with the reasoning of a child, they’d join Nambla and move to San Francisco
Or if they wanted to be mentally abused regularly, they’d rent a Dom and save a fortune.
Such is the state of ‘modern wonamhood’ Of course since the few women worth a crap are about the same number as “males’ qualifying as “Men” that are worth a crap, just look harder. Other than that? No idea.
I’m 44 and I’ll give ya my opinion on why. Women offer less as wives than before. Do the young women keep home as well as women from even 30 years ago? Do these women expect a man to do more and more stuff that was traditionally women’s work? Are today’s women more selfless or more self centered than in the past?
My observation is that men simply get a lower quality woman by and large today. Oh yah the women tend to be fatter and have short hair.
And the flip side of staying single is that it is better than ever.
When did you take the red pill?
You wanna know why I’ll never marry? No fault divorces and lifelong alimony. Not to mention everything I ever worked for taken by a candy-a$$ judge because an unscrupulous skank who never loved you to begin with wants a free ride for life. I’ve see several buddies over the years get taken to the cleaners and it’s not happening to me.
You hit the nail right on the head, FRiend
Been there, done that, got the "D" shirt. And she made off like a bandit.
However, I still would like to get married again, despite the risk, because I believe that's the right thing to do, and shacking up is wrong.
I would love to get married, again, unfortunately, the last two wiped me out. I sometimes wish maw, paw and her 4 daughters would move back in.
Stupid: look it up on Wikipedia.
Eukaryote has always been at war with eusocial.
One word: divorce.

Shacking up is wrong, especially if you have Christian values. But when I went looking for a second wife I did so with a red pill mindset. I no longer think women are saintly or virtuous until proven otherwise. I think they are all capable of screwing you over and simply searched for a woman who I thought would be faithful to her vows and who didn’t think she was an entitled princess. What more can you do?
HAHA, I had to google ‘Red Pill’ just now not having heard of it.
I found:
The red pill and its opposite, the blue pill, are popular culture symbols representing the choice between embracing the sometimes painful truth of reality (red pill) and the blissful ignorance of illusion (blue pill). The terms, popularized in science fiction culture, are derived from the 1999 film The Matrix
I live in Maryland ~ West of Baltimore County. There is a reason why there are lots of single/divorced woman here, and its not pretty,
Let me rephrase: In the past eukaryote has always been at war with eusocial. Today eusocial has been abandoned all together.
There is also a different meaning of red pill in the manosphere. Google MGTOW. Or better do a search of that on YouTube.
I think you said it better than the original article.
Bkmrk.
