The guy I’m talking about would finish off a burger in about 4 bites so about halfway through his second burger he would start seeing a face on the burger.
That was the first time I ever heard someone refer to eating meat as eating something with a face.
This was in 1978 or 79.
If he saw a gun he imagined the gun was going to start shooing him.
If he saw fishing tackle he imagined himself with fishhooks in his mouth.
Normally he would go to a restaurant and order 2 steaks, loved to shoot and fish.
Kofi probably eats Kobi beef and as close as he’ll get to eating an insect would probably be a lobster.
I’m not interested in what he can eat. I am interested in whether we can arrange for him to test drive some Lemmiwinks Grasshoppers......about a bushel’s worth.

It has to be some of the chemicals they reportedly use in the burgers. I don’t think the ground beef (supposedly, anyway) alone would set off mental abberations , hallucinations, or paranoia.

I knew 2 other people that the affect wasn’t nearly as bad but it did affect them.

I have devolved allergies to foods and some chemicals over the past 15 or so years and a certain quantity of MSG can put me in the hospital with anaphylactic shock.

Interesting. I can still eat Burger King but not kfc ( I just figured the grease at my local kfc isn’t fresh - or the sure do use a lot of it too). Maybe it’s a chemical ? Shame because I like the taste of kfc. Come to think of it, I think Before he died, Harlan Sanders said KFC was “sh@t”. He was as I recall overheard saying something to that effect as he spit out his lunch at a kfc joint. He!d already sold the chain out to hublein.
