It’s hard to fight evolutionary urges and prejudices.
Yes, and we all have some prejudices, especially phony libs like Tingles Matthews, Michael Moore, etc. who get self-righteously indignant throwing that stupid R-word around. There will be, G-D willing less and less bigotry as time goes on, but it will never completely disappear. The best we can do is take Dr. King's advice and make a good faith effort to judge each other by our character. The only colors anyone needs to be concerned with are silver, gold and green, and not the enviro type of green, that for most part is another bunch of BS.

When my kids were little I’m not sure how much of a distinction they even had. I owe that to my wife (and me keeping quiet!). As they got older they started seeing more differences. And one of them recently commented that it seems to be even worse since obama has been President. Sad.
