Agreed. I didn’t hear Tobin say he saw the officer shoot him, only that he heard one shot and the guy was taken away on a gurney and didn’t look good.
Like you say, Tobin is a journalist and Sheppie is a sensationalist.
Tobin did not come out of this looking very good. I say that as someone who has always liked him, I was watching live (by chance) at the time.
Tobin`s initial report really took the shine off him, over a period of 5 minutes he kind of backed away from his original statement as things seemed to be changing.
He really did not come across much better than the idiotic girl that the other fox guy interviewed. She swore he was gunned down, they should have found her afterwards and made her apologize....
The Fellow that interviewed her also said the guy was killed, it was a slip of the tongue I guess , but they looked bad.
