GEORGETOWN, Texas (CBS Houston) — It was a scene straight out of “The Naked Gun.”
Rachael Jonrowe, mayor pro tem for Georgetown, Texas, was speaking during a council meeting about deadly infectious diseases when everyone in the room could hear someone going to the bathroom.

The NYC cop died. I think he was 25 years old. Have to go to lucianne to get news anymore.

A story about an unexpected hot mic with actress Anna Maria Alberghetti in a Broadway show ( Carnival, 1961 );

Read this story decades ago. The bathroom noises were described more graphically. It took a few for the audience to figure out exactly what the noises were. Story said she got a standing O when she took the stage again.

My heart goes out to the family of the officer.......it has been such a heavy week of news I thought a little laugh would be nice.
It is so hard to stop laughing right now.
And re the topic of antibiotic resistant infections: I think some are being spread in the council chamber. No way that guy had time to wash those hands,
forty eight years ago PLAYBOY had a full page cartoon of a news man, with a portable camera around his neck pointing down, leaving the MEN”S room.
It showed two TV monitor men running toward him yelling..”JOHN! JOHN! YOUR CREEPE-PEEPEE IS ON!”

Once on the Glenn Beck program, Pat & Stu had just welcomed their guest when it became evident that the unfortunate Jeffy had left his mic on & was now tinkling on live TV. The flushing noise sent them into hysterics.
Pat implied on the air that the control room could have shut off Jeffy’s mic but chose instead to air live urination.
Stu made a Naked Gun reference as well.
Just watched the video...that was hilarious. And the council woman really did her best to keep it together.
Funny stuff.
And real life, too.
My fault. After a page full of say time airhead titles, I kind of freaked. Sorry.
