This set of laws Ted Cruz has listed looks like what Henry VIII got away with that led to the destruction of English liberty.
One thing to keep in mind (which just goes to show how far the destruction of our liberty has gone) is that cases often take years and years before reaching the Supreme Court. Looking through the cases in Cruz's report, many of the underlying power grabs actually pre-dated Obama, occurring under Bush (and even, in some instances, under Clinton).
So, as bad as Obama has been, it's important to remember that, even once he's gone, even if a GOP President takes office (and even if that President is Cruz), we need to keep the next President's feet to the fire, to make sure that he doesn't continue the decades-long trend of power-grabbing Presidential actions.
