I’ve found over the years that most people do not have very good reading comprehension, unfortunately, and that chastising them is often the only way to get them to read more closely and focus. Also, I’m sure that many people drink while perusing stuff online, then comment under the influence. I have contempt for such b.s.
Someone not up on the details of the case, especially the witness from the back of the wagon aspect would also have some trouble following it....
