On April 29th the Washington Post ran an explosive article highlighting information from a passenger who was inside the transport vehicle at the same time Freddie Gray was driven toward central booking. According to the Washington Post source: Freddie Gray was intentionally trying to injure himself.
On April 30th local Baltimore media outlet WBAL-TV introduced Donta Allen, a person they claimed was the passenger in the transport vehicle.
However, THEY ARE NOT THE SAME PERSON.
Our research indicates the office of Baltimore State Attorney, Marilyn Mosby, used or allowed one of her deputy State Attorneys, Janice Bledsoe (who was in charge of the investigation as assigned by Marilyn Mosby), to willfully and intentionally place a false story using Bledsoes lover, WBAL-TV reporter Jayne Miller, and thereby create a fictitious story to imply Donta Allen as the passenger outlined in the Washington Post story.
Yes, you read that correctly.
The full story: The Washington Post does not specifically name the passenger who heard Freddie Gray attempting to injure himself. However, they do provide details as to the identity details we can independently confirm (emphasis mine).
BALTIMORE A prisoner sharing a police transport van with Freddie Gray told investigators that he could hear Gray banging against the walls of the vehicle and believed that he was intentionally trying to injure himself, according to a police document obtained by The Washington Post.
The prisoner, who is currently in jail, was separated from Gray by a metal partition and could not see him. His statement is contained in an application for a search warrant, which is sealed by the court. The Post was given the document under the condition that the prisoner not be named because the person who provided it feared for the inmates safety.

You dont suppose reading the post would help you figure it out, do you?
The story was confusing to me also. I had to read it several times, reviewing specifics often, before I finally felt I understood what went on with all the players and how it affected the case.
You really should. They had the skinny on the Trayvon thing well ahead of anyone else. The guy seems to be well connected and meticulously sources factual matter and indicates speculation as such.
It's a blog and I signed a contract.
Can't do it, I'll lose this seven-figure job.
Bwahaha blog posts — the nuggets of gold among the chaff, that is — are THE most credible source of corruption-busting information anywhere nowadays. You’re one of those people who holds out for “evidence” from the establishment media ? lol
What incentive do you have to be whatever it is you deign to be?
Do you mean like, other than that this MASSIVE "media" HOAX, just like all the previous ones involving Sharpton, are just elaborate propaganda decoys to divet the public's attention away from the irreversible damage being done by the domestic savages running the White Mosk?
No.
I agree that FR ain’t what it used to be. But, both the the WaPo and Baltimore Sun ran stories naming FR as a source of the bogus surgery story. In fact, it was debunked within an hour and a half by a Freeper of its being posted here from the sketchy blog.
What do you mean “also ran”?
Sorry the thread has degenerated into a mammoth bitchfest.
The evidence is the fact that WBAL interviewed a 22 year old guy who isn’t in prison. This obviously is a different person than the 38 year old who is in prison reported by the WaPo.
The horrors! That someone not in the FR circle would do the heavy lifting, we must attack
Excellent catch--and did we not suspect it, having seen the Zimmerman wound photoshop erasure, and the Zimmerman 911 tape editing, and witnesses ad nauseum to events which did not happen. The War Room of the Obama-Sharpton Race War will issue all Fifty Shades of Gray before dropping this nothingburger and turning to the next battle.
No biggie, it comes with being over the target
Seven figures, eh? Seven Justin Bieber action figures, no doubt.
I'm on a mission from God.
Your mistake is in letting the "did not, did to" crowd hijack the thread with endless clutter. The only recourse when that happens is to ignore it and only reply to posts with legitimate commentary. Avoid engaging with posters who only want to drag you down.

Ascribe the same to everyone else while you’re at it
Itchy does not control the comments on Free Republic.
He might control them over on his blog, maybe you should
go on over there so you can let him control what you see.
You’re probably right, but I suppose the sick side of me actually likes the fracas to an extent lol
Good advice, P.J. I used to try to express my opinion in refuting some of these time wasters, but gradually realized it just encouraged them to keep on acting like leftists.
Now, I just ignore them.
Since I have been here since the beginning of FR, it hurst to see the deterioration of discourse. We used to be much more like Conservative Treehouse in analyzing news stories, checking facts, and offering each other corrections when we got off track. And, most important, we were polite to each other, for the most part.
No so any more.
Oh, my.. did I rough-up little junior again?
Because surely anything he steals off the internet is just SO precious, see him go?
hubrisbarfer thinks I own/control every blog on the interwebs, lol
