Looks like the prosecutor is taking the opposite approach than McCulloch took in the Mike Brown case. He knew he had a weak case, and rather than please the mob, he looked at it strictly from a legal point of view.

Here it seems that they're trying to please the mob, and hoped the legal case pans out. Who knows, they could get some plea deals, the could get some convictions. They might also get a messy trial that will upset the mob even more.

That's the thing about mobs, if you try to please them, they will often find something else to get angry at.

I say they will still have trouble on the streets this weekend, and weeks to come.

Yep, I definitely agree.

These charges really seem politically motivated to me, as opposed to being motivated by gathered evidence.

However, I must also note that perhaps she does have evidence that I don’t yet know about.

Playing the long game requires intelligence.

The Baltimore politicians are playing the short game:

Here it seems that they're trying to please the mob, and hoped the legal case pans out. Who knows, they could get some plea deals, the could get some convictions. They might also get a messy trial that will upset the mob even more.

They will get a messy trial. The Fraternal Order Of Police will see to that.
