“But unlike most earlier incursions, no U.S. interceptor jets were dispatched to shadow them”
??????????????????????????????????
Time to go golfing!
Brilliant! This country is doomed!
Where the hell was NORAD?
I guess the commander in charge didn’t want to offend the Russian pigs.
America’s Constitution is dying,
as the People SCREAM bleed almost dry,
while the EXEMPT, hypercomplicit, lying GOP
eagerly rolls and lays on their collective back,
gladly mounted by ISIS, Marxists and antiConstitution thugs.
But are these Tu-65MS models or the Tu-142 maritime reconnaissance model? The Tu-95 and Tu-142 share a lot in common, except the Tu-142 is slightly longer and carries extra electronics intelligence/signals intelligence (ELINT/SIGINT) equipment to function like the RC-135V and W models the USAF flies.
The commander just wanted to be faaair.
NORAD was probably ordered to stand down.
0bama has shown Putin so much “flexibility,” he could probably eff himself.

In the war with Iran let’s hope Russia’s on our side... otherwise these bombing exercises could be a prelude of what’s to come...
RE: In the war with Iran lets hope Russias on our side..
We already know they’re on Iran’s side from their actions, both open and covert.
Try go to Fairbanks AK Vlady
You probably get your a*** by certain Freeper uncle my uncle would shoot him down
Well, Russia has no love for Muslims. Ironic that the US is getting buzzed up about Russians too near the US, but Russia is supposed to be just fine with the West trying to recruit the countries around Russia into NATO.
What I want to know is, with all the problems this country has (Muslims in our midst, troops in harm’s way in the Middle East, debt, inner city riots, etc.) why would we want to get involved in more of Europe’s problems? Let the Europeans fight their own battles for once and deal with Russia and the Ukraine.
Speaking of earlier incursions, haven’t they been doing this for a long time ?
Besides, if you stand on your porch in Alaska, you can hear the BEAR BOMBERS engines starting up before takeoff from Russia.
TU-95s do have some features worthy of note:
They can fly from Havana to Moscow without refueling.
The Russkis are masters of the contra-rotating transmission for Turbo-Props.
It can carry tons'o'stuff: bombs, rockets, ASM and Cruise Missiles, and tons more under the wings.
It is also useful as noted, as a SIGINT device, carrying tons and tons of Russki-tronics and the 20-30 Russki-trons necessary to operate it.
It is almost as fast as a B-52, incredible considering it's driven by propellers!
Threat to the US? Nah, Not as long as Santa Monica Air Museum and Fantasy of Flight have a couple of F-51s handy. The Confederate Air Force could also handle them. Real Danger: They have 1500-mile-range ship-killer missile capability designed to take out carriers. They can launch dozens of cruise missiles. Oh yeah, in true Russki fashion, they probably have one hell of a lot of'em!
Did the F-22’s show themselves.. or merely photograph them?..
I am sure Obama wants to give back Alaska to Russia. Anything to erase the hated Christian nation.
While Baltimore riots, other cities on the verge, Russia exploits the situation.
