Radio Host Mark Levin Slams Jeb Bush’s Immigration Ideas

Presumed presidential candidate Jeb Bush’s strong support of immigration reform, including a pathway to an “earned legal status” for the estimated 11 million illegal aliens in the country, did not sit well with conservative radio talk show host Mark Levin.

Speaking before the National Christian Hispanic Leadership Conference in Houston on Wednesday, the former Florida governor said fixing our broken immigration system means not only “controlling the border” and “making legal immigration easier,” but also “dealing with the 11 million undocumented workers who are here in this country, 11 million people that should come out of the shadows and receive earned legal status, where they pay a fine, where they work…provide for their families, not receive government assistance, and over a period of time be able to receive earned legal status.”

Bush said that, thanks to immigration, America has “the ability to become young and dynamic again.“

Levin pointed out that Bush, by focusing on the “undocumented workers,” was ignoring the millions of Americans hurt by illegal immigration. He said “wave after wave after wave of illegal aliens” has a direct impact on the lives of millions of Americans.

He added, “We cannot allow the ruling class, we cannot allow the left, which now includes people like Jeb Bush, to define the terms of the debate. To misuse the language” by calling those in the United States illegally “undocumented workers” instead of “illegal aliens.”

Yes, we are a nation of immigrants which has a long history of welcoming immigrants. BUT that was when most of the continent was FREAKING EMPTY and we needed people to tame and fill it! You got that right. Somebody tell Jebbie that the US cannot absorb the entire underclass of another nation. Nor was intended to. Melting pot does not mean 11 million Mexicans.
