Its not surprising that a black mother in Baltimore who chased down, cursed and beat her 16-year-old son in the middle of a riot has been called a hero. In this country, when black mothers fulfill stereotypes of mammies, angry and thwarting resistance to a system designed to kill their children, they get praised.

Does this author have children?
holy crap, this “Dr. Stcey” takes dimwittedness to the point that make the Mayor of Baltimore look like a Rhodes scholar. If you doubt that logic could get any more convoluted than this spaghetti-like mess, see her previous article “Freddie Grays life a study in the sad effects of lead paint on poor blacks”
She’s nuts.

I knew it wouldn’t take long for someone to bring up child abuse. I am surprised she made it racial.
We are not celebrating this woman beating her son (like she should have). We are mourning that someone doesn’t beat the living tar out of journalists who write filthy garbage like this article. I am sincerely waiting for someone to literally beat some sense into some journalists.
One more thing, I guess this dumb writer doesn’t realize the boy was throwing rocks at white AND black cops.
To answer her question;
We are not sitting around celebrating. Most of us have jobs and better things to do. Get 1000 of them to do the same, then we will ‘celebrate’.
