Many of these cities are headed to financial ruin. These cities can hardly afford their current staff, now they will have to pay more and more. Such cities will have a difficult time attracting employers, who would have expected protection against theft and arson. Tax revenue will sink. The new policy makes it too risky for the police to do their job. It is a prescription for disaster.

Just yesterday Detroit Police Chief Craig gave a speech and spoke about creating an environment where business will want to be. He spoke about the need to break the cycle of crime in their own homes and neighborhoods. He said you can't blame white flight from 40 years ago for the problems of today. He said he agreed that they do need black owned businesses but they need white owned businesses to hire people and start gaining momentum.
