I live near Detroit, and recently spent a month for training in Downtown Baltimore. Baltimore is much worse.

That’s funny. I lived near Detroit all my life and moved to Maryland 6 years ago. My office is in Baltimore.

In the ghetto areas, black separatism is just as strong as Detroit, but I’ve driven through the bad zones a couple times and it seems to be more vibrant than Detroit.

Among the middle class, I don’t perceive much racial animus at all. I did see more in Detroit.

I just accepted a new position today for my company where I’ll work from home. No more commute to Baltimore.

“Baltimore is much worse.”
In Heaven’s name, how? I understand Detroit can’t afford to keep all its streetlights on at night. Whole sections of Detroit look like Baltimore AFTER the looting. Businesses have given up on Motown. How much worse can Baltimore be?
