Generations and generations of people CANNOT consistently make wrong choices THEN expect a positive outcome."outcome" is somewhat subjective, and measured relative to the outcome of people who made better choices. They're trying to create an illusion of improving the outcome of bad decisions by artificially worsening the outcome of good ones.
