Barney Frank on the Supreme Court's gay-marriage ruling: 'I cannot wait to see Scalia's reaction'
The Week ^ | April 29, 2015 | Peter Weber

Former Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.) is pretty bullish on the Supreme Court recognizing a national right to same-sex marriage, he told Seth Meyers on Tuesday's Late Night, though he said he hadn't read much about the oral arguments that took place earlier in the day. He's excited, Frank added, because he has a husband, and because "I cannot wait to see Justice Scalia's reaction. I'm speculating that like Rumpelstiltskin he will stamp his foot and go up in a puff of smoke." Meyers laughed, "That would be something to see."

“I’m speculating that like Rumpelstiltskin...”

Ginsberg strikes me more as the “Hermit in the woods” type.

Sounds like they were yucking it up real good. I haven’t seen Seth Meyers’ show and I refuse to watch Jimmy Fallon.

I was repulsd when I saw one of the architects of the housing disaster arrive on set with Seth. A miserable , pusillanimous abuser of gerbils, being adored by a dumb white boy (who should be turned loose in Baltimore in a “got milk” T shirt and the latest nIke sneakers with no way to tell the crowd, he is a special guy).I cant stand it....

It is sad that Barney has chosen a short temporal life that he can enjoy anal sex and reject God, because in the next life he’s going to be decidedly unhappy forever that those were the choices he made.

A little corrupt pleasure now, and corrupting others to think his specific dejour of evil is good, but an eternity of pain and regret to follow.

It just isn’t worth it.

Our ountry is being judged and judged hard. Not many more phases of judgment left until we are destroyed. Best thing we can do as Christians is do our best and turn away from our own weaknesses and plead to God to spare our country.

If we do this He will spare us from destruction. Personally I know it’s hard but we have to do our best to do it.

The smug catamite who destroyed our mortgage banking system now celebrates the destruction of the moral basis of our civilization. How cute.

I can only imagine what Barney Frank's reaction will be on the day of judgment. Evil's mockery will be short lived.

The Gay marriage issue is the least important issue it is possible to discuss. Of the sacred cows of the left, it seems to be their current obsession. It is not worth the time it takes for the highest court to discuss, but we must spend our time anyway, when extremely dire issues go undealt with. Isn’t “Global Warming” the greatest threat to mankind in our time? Or is that just another example or the tiresome hyperbole we must endure from the corrupt and divisive left?
Feh.

though he said he hadn't read much about the oral arguments that took place earlier in the day.

That's probably because he was having some "oral arguments" of his own with his new "husband".

...”Our oountry is being judged and judged hard. Not many more phases of judgment left until we are destroyed. Best thing we can do as Christians is do our best and turn away from our own weaknesses and plead to God to spare our country.”...

Yes. My husband had a surgical procedure yesterday and everyone in that packed waiting room grew quiet when the TV began to report on the Supreme Court hearings on gay marriage. You could feel the distress and sadness in that room. I looked at every face and saw great discouragement. In most of the 37 states where gay marriage is legal, the decision was handed down from the courts and not from the will of the people. The wisdom of the people no longer matters, so the courts get packed and politicized, so that we have become a dictatorship without an identifiable dictator. Habakkuk is a short book in the Bible, but could be today’s headline prophesy for America. There really is nothing new under the sun. The human race is corrupt and animalistic without God and there is no depth to which the lawless will not go in their quest for power and domination over others and the overturning of the millennial long practice of the man/woman model for the family may be #1 on the Christmas list of sexually based relationships which structure society.
To Christians..I think it is time to just watch and pray. It is hard, but try not to be discouraged. Even though things look dark, God has overcome the world and we know what the end of this story will be. Suffering may come between now and then but justice will come in the end.

The solution to this problem is for heterosexuals to rename the contract they commit to to bring children into this world.

Marriage defined by supreme court a union between two people who like each other.

Godly Matrimony a union between a man and a woman with the expressed desire to procreate (go forth and multiply) with His loving approval.

I can’t wait to see Barney’s reaction when he bows before his Creator.
