They can say goodby to any summer tourism and I expect many current conventions to pull out. If I was in charge of any chain of stores in Baltimore, I would shutter all stores in the city and hang a sign on each one stating “This XYZ store has closed due to the deteriorating security conditions within the City of Baltimore.”
And how many tourists are going to go to Baltimore?
I belong to a group that had planned to have a convention there. It would have brought in a lot of money to the city. No way we will be holding the event there.
Charleston, SC is out also. In case you didn't read it in the newspapers there are gangs of blacks beating up and robbing white tourists.
