I live in a nothing special little suburban town. Nothing ever happens here. A few years ago we were having our summer block party. Burgers, franks, potluck, games for the kids, etc. At some point in the day the mayor shows up to shake hands and a fire engine and a cop in a squad car show up to show the kids the vehicle, shake hands, meet the folks. So the cop cruiser pulls up, I go over with the kids and the patrolman goes into his explanation routine. The car is basically a rolling armored super computer with a V8 Inteceptor engine. At he end of the talk, he walks us to the back of the vehicle and pops the trunk. He had two tricked out M4s, two brand spanking new Benelli combat shotguns, extra body armor and loads of rounds. I just stood there, stunned. About thirty minutes later, it dawned on me. It wasn't really a friendly visit. It was a warning.
