A statement from the student government said while it respects free speech of all students, the posters weren't authorized, contained vulgar language and missed the point of activism.

I love the notion that free speech must be authorized and that the point of activism apparently means agree with me. I'll concede the point on profanity, grudgingly, since they don't tell us exactly what it was.

Having been in college, I'll bet this response from the SGA will provoke a second round of posters, ramping up the rhetoric.

“Activism” for me, but not for thee. The university nazis do not see their obvious hypocrisy, proving that you don’t have to be intelligent to go to a university.

I’ll just bet they “missed the point of activism”. To our nazified leadership, “activism” is the promotion of leftist causes. But even then, check with Big Brother to make sure you’re the “victim du jour”, just so you don’t step on the activism of a victim group higher up in the hierarchy than you.
