According to Wiki the RN consists of: 10 submarines, 3 amphibious warfare ships, 6 guided missile destroyers, 13 frigates, and assorted minesweepers, survey ships and coastal patrol craft. Half of these, or more, would normally be in port at any one time.
I don't know how effective this force would be in stopping what is coming. I'm glad I live in North America.
