Rubio’s campaign: Don’t believe we are winning
HeraldTribune ^ | 4/24/15 | J. Wallace

Most times when a politician tells you not to believe the polls, it’s because they are way behind and are trying to convince followers they will turn it around.

But Marco Rubio’s presidential campaign is doing something far more unusual. In a blast email sent out yesterday, they warned supporters to not believe the polls because he is winning.

“Even though two new polls released today have Marco in first place in the GOP field, you should ignore it,” Rubio campaign manager Terry Sullivan wrote in the email blast.

Sullivan goes on to warn that the election is way off and the free publicity Rubio has been getting is not always going to be there.

The point? They need more donations. The email is primarily aimed at getting Rubio’s backers to send more money to be able to pay for television ads that will be needed to win early voting states like Iowa and New Hampshire.

The polls Sullivan was referencing are a new Fox News poll and a Quinnipiac University survey released on Thursday.

The Fox News poll showed Rubio the choice of 13 percent of Republican voters. He was followed by Scott Walker at 12 percent and Rand Paul at 10 percent.

The Quinnipiac Poll showed Rubio at 15 percent, Jeb Bush was at 13 percent and Walker at 11 percent.

He was 8% in Fox; 9% in Q-—

But, as he says, he was originally at 2% in the Texas Senate race, and the margin of error was 3.

Rubio and Jebster are on the side of illegal aliens and their employers.

Why would anyone want another President who cares more about fraudulently documented foreigners than they do about American citizens?

There are voters who like the GOPe so much they want to elect Rubio, and re-energize it for another decade. Down at the pub we call those people Democrats in drag.

Bogus self interested ones!

if the numbers for Ted Cruz were so bad they'd be showing them. Ted must be blowing the rest of them out of the water.

I agree, he should be ignored, he wants Amnesty.

Polls are about those you SAY you; contact and those you say you do not contact..

WHEN... it’s really about....

those you actually contact and those you refuse can’t or don’t want to contact..

It’s public manipulation of the highest order.. dishonest.. AND creepy..

They think that if they mention him it will give him legitimacy. Guess that is true for some people. But most of them are LIVs anyway who will never vote for Ted in a million years. They ignore him at their own peril because the people that would vote for Ted don’t get their news and information from the LSM.

Don't worry, I don't, nor do I want you to win.

I think you are right on! They are afraid of him because they know his message is resonating and spreading like wildfire!

“Even though two new polls released today have Marco in first place in the GOP field”

Who are they polling, the landscaping tradesmen? Chicken house slaughterers? Motel housekeeping crews?
