My wife (who was from Mexico) after 22 years got her citizenship yesterday here in Los Angeles along with 3,940 other people.
My wife loves this country, has nothing to do with Mexico at all but thought the same thing as we looked at all these people.
We both thought 80% plus percent of those there looked hard up seeking to get benefits by being a citizen.
Big Democrat registration only voter registration booths right outside of the LA Convention center right after the Oath ceremony.

People should be able to support themselves at 125% above the poverty line, get no dole for 15 years. If they use the dole in any way as Residents they should not have citizenship IMO.

Maybe the state wants them here simply because in addition to being needy they are of child bearing age.

It still doesn’t make sense, in a secular context. Mexico isn’t even a better place for Mexico’s elites, considering all the security measures they have to live under. So our “elites” want to turn the US into Mexico. It just doesn’t make sense. Unless you are the antichrist.

They will be your maid or nanny as long as you pay them in cash to avoid taxes to keep their WIC, EBT and welfare as they ship the money home to pay the loan on their property in Mexico.

PS: Know a family like that who I later found out collected unemployment, welfare, disability and free health care out their ears while sending the money to Mexico to pay off the mortgage on their properties for when they retire or go back.

We are elated.
Her mother came here with the kids. Mom became a resident and never took care of the kids situation before they turned 18. Left my wife in a long term bid to gain her citizenship.
She was never on unemployment or welfare.
My wife has gotten a lower college degree and is going for the four year one next.
She has more than worked hard most of her life and has played by the rules.

I am very proud of her.
I am very happy for her.
