But then, remember when Larry Flint had his “conversion” and tried, and failed, to get on several religious TV shows? He would not give up his ownership of Hustler magazine. He later began to publish some of the most vile anti-Christian cartoons in his rag. Then he got shot and really turned vile.
And who can forget when Governor Huckabee of Arkansas released Maurice Clemmons after Clemmons had a prison “conversion”. Clemmons then went on to kill several policemen in Washington state.
That’s my point: people RARELY change. Once they choose the donwward path, they rarely climb back out.
