There is a book mentioned that I know I heard of years ago. It’s was about the formula “attack” on the Catholic influence (larger families) in Philadelphia (early last century). It was a joint effort of the original Quakers and leftist Jewish progressive types to assure Philly did NOT turn into “another Boston.”
Anywho...PA is well BELOW the replacement birthrate AND Allegheny County has the oldest popation in the country.
My thoughts on moving to the desert (above) are making more sense.

Morning everyone. Yesterday was so busy, I was exhausted. Mr. S didn’t wake me up and I just woke up.
Son and wife are having baby #2 soon. They want a couple more. They are doing their part to populate Pa.!
Lots to do today. I’ve got to finish son and DIL’s new bedroom. They move in tomorrow.

Worse for me is the Tenana river ice broke around midnight our time last night. So I missed it by 15 hours or so.
BUT when the Ice breaks in Nenana Alaska....SPRING IS HERE!
