Exactly. That would be the best route. People who wish for a 1776 or an 1861 have no idea of the bitterness and misery a civil war would be. Especially in this modern era where they turn into cell structured, very personal, and very bitter affairs.
They drag on for decades.
A spiritual awakening would indeed be the way. Yet, I cannot fail to notice that everything spiritual is under a full force multipronged attack from our government.
Religion is under almost constant attack by the revolutionary socialist government.
I think a spiritual awakening is an good, but not the full answer. Government is determined to fight the people, not the other way around. They way I see it the people are standing where they have always been, and the government has decided to relentlessly attack them.
SO it will be war unless either the people surrender all firearms, accept the end of religion, accept full government control of child raising. Accept full government control of their lives, diet, healthcare transportation, reduced free speech, universal surveillance and domestic spying, etc.
OR, unless the government gives up its designs.
Unfortunately, I do not see the people surrendering their last political strongholds, or the government throwing up its hands and walking back on their path.
Spiritual awakening will be the foundation of anything else sane that isn’t to be a long term festering.
And I will stand pat on this: yes, there is a God.
The reason God is so unclear to most of us is that we’ve been refusing God in our spirit. We expect things to go like the devil conducts the world. Selfishly, with no thought of a God of explicit grace. This will keep throwing us onto our keisters in anger and bitterness with every failure as there is no overarching hope in sight.
A long, slow climb out of that pit is how I know something (though doubtless not everything) about how God acts.
In that case the best outcome would be partitioning. It would still become like India versus Pakistan.
