Rogue Valley Symphony surprised recently naturalized American citizen, Music Director Martin Majkut, with a surreptitiously planned & rehearsed audience-flag-waving rendition of “God Bless America” at their concert in Ashland, OR on April 17, 2015. Kudos to organizer Tom O’Rourke & tip of the cap to arranger Bruce Dresser.

Oregon is booming with all the conservatives who have migrated from CALIFORNIA. I read about 4 million people have left the state.
That was very cool.
I’m always telling people they should move away. It would sure be neat to see Nevada like population numbers here.

this is the type of immigrant who politicians should be encouraging to come to the US...individuals who first act of migration is obeying the immigration laws.
Thanks for posting.. Two things, I love the Rogue area, just beautiful and what better song to sing, than God Bless America.. Wonderful news, if we could ever move back to the West Coast. Of course we were in Washington State. Can we not have the West coast down to San Fran? Would love to see San Fran experience a great revival.
