The problem is a lot more complex than most people realize. I could go into a long and boring detailed description of what has happened and why, but I don't think either of us has time for it. I will just point out Four factors that have a significant impact on what happened.
1. World War II. Reduced male population in the United States, and the left behind females had to become more promiscuous to compete for the remaining available males.
2. Anti-Biotics Invented. The newly discovered antibiotics made it possible to treat what was previously untreatable and very deadly venereal diseases. It didn't cure them all, but it certainly reduced anxiety for the possibility of contracting some of the dangerous/deadly ones.
3. Birth Control Pill. Unwanted pregnancy was likely the most feared result of promiscuous sexual encounters. Reducing this anxiety increased probabilities of promiscuous sexual behavior.
4. Post World War II prosperity for the USA. Due to the fact that much of the remaining world's production capacity was in the toilet, and because nations were relatively poor, they turned to the still running factories of the USA for much of their purchases. The USA saw some of it's greatest financial growth during this period, and people were living better than ever before, and with more money to spend. Prosperous times usually result in a decline in morals. (See 1920s.)
Due to these and other factors, the "Sexual Revolution" of the 1960s, was virtually guaranteed.
Blessings and trials can be used as occasions to indulge self or to honor God.
To claim that they MUST result in evil is to generate propaganda for Satan.
Good points you make, but points soundly rejected by America’s liberal electoral college majority.
