I own a breed of dog that is known for outbursts of aggressiveness and violence. I let him play with my infant son.

Between the former Red Bird mall and the former Red Bird airport, both re-named to try to escape the reputation of the neighborhood. NOT an area known for its Danish population.
When will people learn?
A gun in the home is safer.
I’m waiting for the pit bull apologists to show up. “My dog would NEVER do that.”
Just curious what medications he gave this pit bull? How did medicating help him to shoot his dog?
Dogs of Peace.
Yea, the guy used it to kill his pit bull. After it killed his son. The moron will live with that knowledge for the rest of his life, and hopefully he doesn’t endanger anyone else with his stupidity.
Never mind my view on PBT types.
This article is just as trash as the owners likely were.
“He DRUG the dog...”?
What lows we have hit when we can’t even have good English, especially in a publication.
He should also be held accountable for the death of his 2 month old son.
All you Pit Bull owners that think your dear dog can never do anything like this.....get real....it's their NATURE, not their NURTURE that matters when something triggers them.
Heck, hand grenades are safer.
First of all, why is a 2 month old in a bouncy seat? I’m sure that was what drew the dog’s attention. Secondly, this is just about the worst writing I’ve ever seen in a news story.
Likely a liberal who said it is the owners who raise them to be mean, and, they were sure their, “pitty” was a nice dog.
How tragic and preventable.
After losing our dog to cancer recently, the wife & I began a (low-key) search for a new little friend. The first place we visited was the city animal shelter’s website. We’d had good luck at the “pound” in the past. There were approximately 50 dogs being advertised...95% of which were pit bulls. We thought “this can’t be right”, so we went by the pound. Sure enough, practically every dog there was pit bull or pit bull mix.
People are dumping these dogs.
I used to go around there!
But the mall died YEARS ago...
Again, not a good area...
Dreadful and utterly preventable. RIP.
As far as stores go, it’s not much worse that Collin Creek. I understand that Vista Ridge is on the ropes, as well, with Prestonwood, Valley View, and Richardson Square already interred.
