Simply nonsense. The Senate experiment broke early on in the 19th century. The 17th didn’t occur by magic or some evil leftist scheme, it was demanded by the people fed up with the institutional corruption of that body and the way its members were selected.

the 17th was not demanded by the people...

it was demanded because south carolina could not elect at that time a representative..

therefore, south carolina declared that they were taxed without representation..

and the aftermath of that was the 17th amendment...

an amendment that removed the stated from the federal government and gave that right to nationalist parties..

you, sir are either uneducated or a troll..
