Thanks, I was just going to ping you.
:)
The last 6 years 9 months have been a historic mistake.
Stand and stop it.
Enabling his Iranian IslamoNazi pals to build up a nuclear missile arsenal... is a mistake of historic proportions for USA and the Christian Western world. And for all the countries in the Middle East, of course.
But it is not a mistake for Obama. It is exactly what he’s been working to create over there, for six years already.
Recall, he even threatened to “go to war against” any countries that tried to stop it. And he’s used our great USAF for all this time... to protect the IslamoNazi nuke factories....(instead of eliminating them). And, he’s allowed the anti-American Mullahs to have billions of dollars and all kinds of trade deals now...
A totally consistent pattern of facilitation, enablement, defense, and funding of the Nuclear Missile arsenal that will destroy America and Europe (Iran’s even identified their five top priority targets.... as I recall they are NYC, WashDC, LA, SF, and I think it was ChiTown .. or possibly Boston?)
Point of it all is to destroy The Great Satan (USA).
And Europe as an extra added little bonus (first bomb they say will be on Rome, then....?)
Mistake for USA, yes. Mistake for Europe, yes.
But not a mistake for BHO. A plan, yes. Not a mistake.
Behavior has been too amazingly consistent for there to have been any mistake on his part.
That’s what everyone should be saying to the media and beyond - it is a HISTORIC mistake.
It is going to make Neville Chamberlain look like a genius in contrast.
“Stand and stop it.”
Agreed. It’s time.
As usual, Ted is right.
nobama is bound and determined to do everything he can to destroy the USA before his term is up. Assuming he leaves. An “emergency” allowing him to declare martial law and cancel the 2016 elections would not surprise me at all.
Hopefully, if he tries that, it will be the straw that breaks the camel’s back and Americans will finally wake up and fight back.
Absolutely!
Like Thomas Sowell said: "Comparing Obama to Chamberlain is unfair to Chamberlain."
Agreed, and it may take a treasonous act like that to awaken many.
I can understand why that ignorant and stupid little man-child will do such a foolish thing, but I simply don't grasp how everyone else can watch him dancing around on land mines and not realize what is going to happen.
I watched most of Ted’s speech, and, as usual, it was great. Also, I believe he grammatically correctly said the Iran deal is “AN historic” mistake. Being sort of a grammar stickler, I appreciate speakers who get some things right that most don’t.
I was wondering if any other Freepers were able to watch or listen to his speech, which appeared to be the last speech of the event today. I would characterize most of the applause early in the speech as “polite”, but as he went on the applause became noticeably stronger. Ted also fielded two audience questions, and knocked them out of the park with his replies.
Senator Ted Cruz at the New Hampshire Republican Leadership Summit
“Weve heard how Senator Bob Corker has proposed a bill that basically demands Obama abide by the Constitution on this Iranian agreement. However, today we find out that isnt the case at all. The bill he is pushing will actually make Obamas power grab easier!
Under the proposed legislation, Congress will review the presidents deal with Iran and can reject it with a 6-vote margin. But Obama can turn around and veto that, which would then require a 67-vote total to overturn his veto. This is completely bass-ackwards to the way the Constitution set things up.
Talk show host, Mark Levin explains Weve turned the treaty provision on its head. Instead of requiring two-thirds of the Senators present to approve, this bill explicitly demands 67 votes to STOP the president. You need 67 votes to override a presidential veto to undo what Obamas done. Now, we need a supermajority to override the president rather than a supermajority where the president needs approval for a treaty.
Keith Koffler at the White House Dossier blog agrees. Hes right. Because a treaty requires a two-thirds vote by the Senate to be accepted as law. Corkers bill turns that on its head, allowing Congress to vote down the treaty with Iran but giving Obama veto power, which must be overridden by a two-thirds vote. Meaning that instead of needing two-thirds of the Senate to approve his treaty, Obama only needs one-third.
He continued With the Corker bill, he (Obama) now has Congress in his pocket, as he joins Iran in shredding the Constitution over a Swiss negotiating table. And in ten to fifteen years, when Iran conducts its first nuclear test, Congress will have had a role in the tragedy.
