“colored”
I suspect that word is on the PC forbidden list. I haven’t heard it in probably 30 years. The list, which is real even if it isn’t written, changes so frequently that, in the workplace, the word that was okay yesterday will get you fired today.
Well, isn’t the “C” in naacp stand for the word “colored”? It’s their acronym, they thought it up. but I agree, let a white person say it and OH MY GOD! You be rassis. Remember the guy who used the word niggardly? IIRC he got fired.
