Not all younger workers are swayed by the sweet temptation of a $15 an hour minimum wage being pushed by several unions across the country.

Media Trackers hit the streets of Milwaukee this week to gauge reaction from college-aged residents on a protest demanding a dramatic hike in the minimum wage.

“I get minimum wage kind of sucks and everything, but at the same time, I saw a sign trying to raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour. You try doing something like that, and gas is going to be $10 a gallon, so it doesn’t really fix a whole lot,” one man said.

Wow. Some common sense being heard. Someone who realizes that if fast food places and gas stations had to pay $15 an hour, that a Big Mac meal would increase in cost, and gas prices would increase, so doesn’t that put these lower wage workers back at square one???

Nice to see someone thinking farther ahead than the nose on their face. Also, at that rate a lot of minimum wage jobs will disappear entirely - Especially in light of the fact that it would make the automation now possible financially feasible.

Give that one anonymous man a prize. He's smarter than 90% of Congress.

Doing everything they can to avoid effort, hard work and education. “Slackers” want to remain being slackers.

Maybe these young people realizes that they can be replaced by a “ROBOT”. Just imagine, if and when these idiots get their way and get $15/hr, and the owners retaliate by replacing them with “ROBOTS”. Will they then UNIONIZE these “ROBOTS”? This is the only way we can beat these liberals, socialists and communists. Ah, their argument will be: “WHO WILL BUY YOUR PRODUCTS”? Easy answer, all these people will be unemployed and the government will give them “FREE MONEY”.

If a minimum hourly wage solved all our problems we would still be at 25 cents an hour.

A raise in minimum wage, which eventually trickles around to everyone and causes inflation in prices, only benefits those with long term debt like car payments and real estate payments. They are paying back with dollars that are worth less (worthless) than the value of the dollars when they took out the loans.
