Former Obama Pilot: TWA Flight 800 was not blown up by a faulty fuel tank.

Was TWA Flight 800 shot out of the sky?

As a former pilot, that is a question I get asked about all the time.

I’m no conspiracy theorist, but let’s be clear: Yes. I say it was. And I believe the FBI covered it up.

This is the only mention of the El Al flight I found from a quick and dirty search.

Another rumor that was circulating at the time Flight 800 was downed was that Henry Kissinger was on board. After running the European Station Chief’s story past several of our American sources, they felt that Kissinger being on board, would explain how the government could have tricked a home grown terrorist group into downing that particular plane. Yes, it was TWA 800 that was the target, not the EL Al plane that was scheduled to leave at that time.

I do recall a friend of mine who was a senior ATC controller and had friends at the JFK TRACON told me about this and it was a common theory at the TRACON. That said, it is merely heresay for me.

I’ll keep after it.

“I do not personally have that information.”

No one ever does.

So, you’re assuming I’m making it up ..??

Did you read First Strike ..?? NO!

The reason many of them never were named was because they were being silenced by the govt, who were threatening them.

That’s not exactly what should happen .. but since the Clintons were in office at the time, I suspect that had a lot to do with it. The left does not want to be responsible for anything .. they just want to rule.

Radar data multiple sources obtained via FOI (with unexplained gaps in data released) as well as description and analysis of “targets”
http://twa800.com/pages/radaranalysis.htm

-two boats on surface & 3 planes (2 commercial (one with eyewitness) & P-3 Orion
-debris field locations (3)
-TWA at 71 degree trajectory
-Track (missile)approaching, intersect and exiting TWA800 at 190 degree trajectory at high velocity - this trajectory has an origin in line with one “unidentified” boat and the exit side resulted in multiple debris items tracked on radar landing into a “Crosswind debris field on the same trajectory from TWA 800
Out of context:

“Evidence of a Missile

A Sweep by Sweep analysis of the radar data clearly depicts a plume of very high velocity metal exploding out of the aircraft’s right side at approximately 20:31:13. The lead ejecta almost certainly has to be a missile body! With the aircraft on a heading of 071 degrees True, this radar contact separated laterally from the aircraft track on a ballistic trajectory of 190 degrees True, traveling about 3,200 feet in less than 7 seconds. This 119 degree change of direction and high velocity could not possibly have been the result of a Center Wing Tank explosion.

This is not theory or speculation, but hard physical evidence. It takes almost 2 seconds for a bullet fired from a military sniper rifle to travel that distance. Only a missile body, with it’s hundreds of thousands of foot pounds (ft/lbs)* of kinetic energy would have the inertia to perform this way on radar. It only takes 6,000 ft/lbs of energy for a 50 caliber heavy machine gun bullet to punch through 3/8 inch thick steel plate. Boeing 747’s are constructed of various aluminum alloys and rarely in thickness’ exceeding 1/2 inch.

With this much energy, the missile body would slice through the aircraft “like a bullet through a tin can”, just as I stated in my April 24, 1997 letter to the Wall Street Journal, in response to Chairman Hall’s “It wasn’t a missile” letter to the same paper. It is startling to note also that the trajectory of the ejecta (missile body & other parts) is on a direct line from an unidentified boat, 2.9 nautical miles to the Northeast of Flight 800 when it exploded.

* [ 15lb missile body @ 1500 ft/sec, apply 1/2 MV squared = 524,720 ft/lbs of energy ]”

Hmmmm. Even if you have info that there really was an El Al plane leaving at the same time, there is some motive in that, but no one has ever downed an El Al plane before or since. And that would have been a huge get for the terrorists...

I hope one day we get to know the truth.

“Right, because 670 people did not see what they saw.”

No, because they did not see what they thought they saw. The testimony of ‘eyewitnesses’ is notoriously unreliable.

The idea of a missile taking down that aircraft is preposterous and only believable to those who do not understand missiles.
