Jim Quinn is back! - and in better form than ever!! The Quinn in the Morning Show airs from 6:00am to 9:00 am, Monday thru Friday. To listen online, go to www.warroom.com and sign up (for a small fee). Or, for those of you in the upstate NY listening area, Quinn is on WYSL in Rochester, NY. If you sign up online, be sure to choose the "auto-renew" option in order to have full access to archived shows and podcasts.
Snap!
How cute is it that WYSL doesn’t even have a webpage?
Good grief, even Port Angeles’ (pop 19190) station has a webpage, complete with high school football results, live streaming, want ads and a whole lot more.
www.konp.com if you don’t believe it.
How desperately broke is this Quinn that the station(s?) he’s on won’t stream his show?
I was going to give a listen, but I’ll be damned if I pay for it just for a trial.
They do have a web page, but the Quinn stream is blocked. If you want to hear what Quinn is all about, you can listen to past shows on youtube.
He’s a patriot who doesn’t hold back. The libs wanted him off the air BIG TIME. He has fought his way back and word is that he is talking to some of his old affiliates. When he returned to the airwaves several weeks ago, the reception was overwhelming. They had to add an additional two servers. The (very low) monthly charge is necessary to get back to live radio and we who listen are happy to help him We need his voice out there!
Quinn’s preference was to control the live stream. He is his own boss, hence the subscription options.
Mornin everybuddy!
On youtube, type in “Quinn and Rose”. Rose was his sidekick who has moved on to other things but will be stopping in on the show on occasion. Also, check out the D-Day special. Wonderful tribute to those who fought i the D-Day invasion:

Morning!
Safely at work. Looks like a pretty sky this morning. Forgot the “bumbershoot” so hopefully, I won’t get rained on later :)
The fast food workers protest...irritates me. Devalues the hard work that people have put into education and their careers.
Repeat of the first hour. Still working the bugs out!
Good morning n’@!
Nicely (and very diplomatically) stated!
I cannot wrap my head around the Hillary debacle. Surely...someone, anyone, has told her “the Queen has no personality.” I think some serious kabuki theatre is at play here. More reporters than Iowans, they locked the Community College students IN their classrooms, they bused in the “supporters,” and Chuck Todd peed his pants (”there she is! There she is! I see her !!!”)
Is Bill chuckling on an island (w/his pals) “so then I told her, ‘you need a van...’” ?
If the fast food restaurants go to $15.00 an hour, I’m leaving my records-manager job that I worked years to become knowledgeable about, and I’ll gladly flip burgers!
Morning! I’m sure Bill had a van - and made very very good use of it! ;-)
I’m looking forward to seeing how the “experiment” of the company where EVERYBODY makes 70k works out. How long before human nature takes over?
Apparently this company, name escapes me, has had “unlimited” paid vacation time...you take as many (or few) vacation days as you want. Guess what, many employees aren’t taking ANY vacay time—don’t want to be viewed as “not productive” “slacker” etc. What long impact will that have on their workforce.
Gravity Payments is the company. It will be interesting to see what happens.
And that’s funny - my company used to have unlimited paid time off, and it went away right before I started. I think someone abused it and they got rid of it. I think the only thing I miss from my old job is the vacation time (I had a lot, after 15 years there). I liked to use it to spend a few weeks with my Mom.
And yeah, my husband has his associates degree for a Chem Lab Tech, and he only made $12/hr. So, sure, $15 sounds pretty good - but then again - how many hours a week will you get? And won’t they dump the LOW SKILLED workers for better skilled people? Will you need a college degree to work fast food for that kind of pay?
I think Rush had it a bit wrong when he was discussing it yesterday. It isn’t that everyone will make the same wage, but instead everyone makes at least $70K; some were already making that and more when the CEO decided to make $70K the minimum wage.
And he’s reduced his own pay to $70K, which sounds noble but I have to wonder how that will work when he’s working 80 hour weeks as some CEOs do for the same meager salary he’s paying his file clerks.
Good morning!
Late, had to gas the truck for mrs p6.
BJ had an El Camino with carpet in the bed.
I fell better informed again. I stopped my Rush pod cast because of all the time he wastes.
I dropped Rush as well. I can listen to him at work anyway so no point in spending the money.
