Appearing on The Kelly File last night, potential GOP presidential candidate Carly Fiorina argued that running for president isn't about gender as supporters of Democrat candidate Hillary Clinton would have voters believe, but instead is about accomplishments and results of leadership.
"The media doesn't ask Hillary Clinton basic questions like 'what have you actually accomplished?' She's been on the stage for so long. She's been a fixture of Washington for so long. She's been a fixture of politics for so long that people so often think 'well we don't need to ask what she's accomplished, of course she's accomplished something,' and that's why I think it's so important that we be able to fight on the ground of her accomplishments, of her track record, of her transparency, of her candor, of her leadership capabilities and not allow her to play the gender card or talk about the war on women or all the other things she wants to talk about, anything but her track record," Fiorina said. "It's not about your gender, it's about what you believe, what your accomplishments are, what your track record is, what your leadership is."
Fiorina also said it is "crystal clear" Clinton will play the gender card in order to distract away from her record and lack of leadership during her decades long career in Washington D.C. She also said Republicans have to push back against war on women rhetoric when it is used against them.

Meanwhile Chelsea Clinton, Hillary Clinton's daughter, believes it's important for her mother should be elected president because it's "symbolic."
Then Fiorina's better off running on gender.
And if Fiorina is in this for herself or Jebby, "we" can't dissuade her from anything!
Right now, for purposes of POTUS 2016, the enemy (Carly) of my enemy (Hitlery) is my friend.
It is interesting that CF took the hit for the failures of
Bill & Dave to see that they had set up the company for failure. They put in place procedures for a top controlled company, they profited from positions of power in the US government (and from Vietnam war/cold war). So their egos could not put in place a process for training and promoting from within. So, in reality CF walked into an tough situation.
In other words she walked into a mess. The real HP questions where:
How could a company that made the 16C calculator and couldn’t make an iphone?
How could a company that owned the networking business, best routers and switches loose it to Cisco?
How did a company that invented unix workstations not produce osx like workstations?
IMHO, your ‘sarcasm detector’ is broken.
What does that have to do with Carly? She's not taking a single vote from Cruz - hell, she's probably bringing some people to the GOP table to take a look. If she "takes away" from anyone, it would be the more liberal Republicans.
And in the big picture, she's doing all of us a favor. She's hitting Hillary where Cruz nor Paul nor Walker can - in the girlie pants. Those points she's scoring now will be on the board for whoever wins the nomination. And she'll make it easier for other Republicans to slam Hillary as well.
I do not particularly care for Fiorina.
In terms of history, correct me if I am wrong, but Biden was selected VP to suck in a certain crowd for votes to shore up obama’s election; and old man Bush was selected to be Ronnie’s running mate to help shore up the GOPe backing.
My point is, many women will vote for Hillary simply because she is a woman.
With Fiorina as the VP along side Cruz or Walker, I think that would guarantee a Republican win.
My personal favorite would be Sarah Palin, but she’s been successfully trashed by the media over and over she’d be more of a negative in terms of votability.
Fiorina certainly has faults. But compared Hillary there is really nothing wrong with her. Hillary is an evil power hungry communist not much different from obama.
This would not be the case of voting for the lesser of two evils, such as obama or Romney, it would be making certain the right person would be elected POTUS.
She's speaking as a defacto presidential candidate. Though she has not formally announced she's basically said she's running. So, when do I get to give my opinion? She is a poor candidate. She lost statewide election in California. She isn't convincing or articulate in support of any issue I care about. It's not that she's OK on most issues but falls down on one (like Rubio).
And people wonder why we cant win national elections.
If you are talking about the presidency, we seem to trade off with the dems every 8 years.
But didn’t she say it was about track records? : (
I was speaking more about her political track record. But I take your meaning.
Sounds like she already had her 15 minutes of fame, she is a no-go.
Because you keep missing the point? Because you are obsessed with personality (Carly) instead of being focused on the idea that Hillary needs to be attacked and that a woman can do that effectively - and because for some reason you think someone who likes what Carly is doing is in danger of voting for her against their will?
Dude you are so far stuck in the past it is scary. The USA is a center left country at best meaning a majority of our citizens are leftists and if they all vote we lose. Is this news to you?
Carly won't get the nomination and Hillary won't ever be president.
