Homosexuals are already treated fairly under the law: If they want to marry, they have the same right as anyone else to find a suitable member of the opposite sex and to legally commit to them. What they don't have is a right to change the definition of marriage to suit their proclivities.
I am disappointed that Rand Paul is giving in to the left's habit of redefining terms in his apparent attempt to finesse his answer. We have to start clearly framing the parameters of debate, rather than accepting the left's deceptive characterizations.

Rush Limbaugh said that Rand Paul told him that a candidate can no longer address Americans as a whole; they must be addressed as groups. So, Paul will say anything to anybody. That used to be called pandering, but for Paul that just means he is the ultimate candidate with divine objectivity. He is really just blind ambition that has somehow acquired a pair of legs.
