Three Reasons Hillary Won't Win the Democratic Ticket
American Thinker ^ | 04/13/2015 | William Sullivan

Posted on 04/13/2015 7:51:07 AM PDT by SeekAndFind

At this point, I understand how this prediction will be received. It’s been common belief for some time that Hillary Clinton would headline the ticket. And there’s ample reasoning to think that she will. So let’s begin there.

First, she’s got something that more than half of the field doesn’t have. Namely, a pair of x chromosomes; she’s a woman (and not the Bruce Jenner kind). As such, opposition to her ascendency to the highest seat of political power in America can immediately be panned as archaic fear among a misogynistic rabble of conservative men (and the crowing of millions of simple and unliberated conservative women that are subservient to them, no doubt) before any policy positions are considered. The Republican “War on Women” farce was established during the 2012 campaign season, and it was lapped up by the media to great effect. There’s no reason to think that her campaign would not enjoy a bit of immunity due to this preceding phenomenon.

Second, she’s American royalty, so to speak. I’ve had more than a few friends tell me that they don’t know anyone who likes Jeb Bush for the Republican presidential ticket. Yet here we are, listening to possibility that he’s a Republican frontrunner for no other reason than his pedigree. Similarly, Hillary hasn’t done much worthy of note, and what she has done offers no signs that she would be a qualified leader of this country (more on this in a bit). But since lack of leadership experience, considering our current two-term president, is clearly not a deal-breaker for the Democrat voting bloc, sharing her husband’s last name should carry a good bit of weight.

The first two reasons lead to the third reason that Hillary is the leading candidate for the Democratic ticket.

All of which is null and void with Elizabeth Warren on the ticket, who has a lower age, less baggage and Suze Orman telling young people at student debt forums that we ought to protect people from high student loan debt and make it bankruptable and forgivable.

If hillary is old warren is not far behind her. At this time she is 65 going on 66, b. 6/22/49.

in 2020 the cherokee princess would be 71 at the time of the election and going on 72 when inaugurated. Reagan was “only” nearly 70 on the day of his inauguration.

Time to get rid of the boomers in politics. I am a mid-boomer ‘55 and can say that. I think most of the generation that sought political office are dope smoking, hippie radicals. They need to go and go quickly.

I am coming to the point where I want to step aside and enjoy a few things I have not done in nearly 4 decades while I still feel like it. These political power brokers need to let the middle age people take over and shape their own future... the one the boomers have built for them is bleak. What the boomer candidates will put in place will shape a future they will be dead for... it is not important to them how it turns out.

Three score and 10 is the span of a man... the rest is gravy. Do these old hags like hillary and warren want to spend their last years screwing up more lives... what arrogance!

The biggest threat to America is the Vagino-American Vote. Those clowns who want to able to tell their grandchildren that they proudly voted for the first vagina to occupy the Oval Office regardless of substantive issues and lack of qualifications.

These are the same dunderheads who will proudly tell their grandchildren how they voted for the first mulatto to occupy the Oval office.

Morons.

I think she’d be easy enough to beat in the general election.

By a conservative candidate like Ted Cruz, yes.
Jebster will lose graciously.

While that's true, she's now facing the same problem that John McCain faced in 2008: taking on an opposing candidate that is much younger with potentially greater appeal to voters across the age spectrum. We forget the Barack Obama was only 48 in 2008, and Ted Cruz, Scott Walker and even Rand Paul are WAY younger than Hillary Clinton. And she hasn't aged well, either.

Good article. No matter how you cut it, Hillary has a long road ahead of her.

Is she up to the task, quick on her feet, charismatic, great with rejoinders, smartest gal in the room, has 'command presence', a political savant, people want to see her and be with her? . . Oh wait, that's Sarah Palin.

I don't know why Sullivan dismisses the devotion of the Democrat voter. Winning the White House is all they care about-not about scandals, or lack of charisma. She will win the nomination from the sheer brute force of the Clinton machine. They will to it that no one sneaks up on them the way Obama did in 2008.

The real problem I see is whether or not the GOP will select a good candidate that can counteract the Hillary onslaught.

If they select anyone but Cruz, I'm not so sure Hillary can be defeated.

She has a ready-made campaign song.....

.....He was five and she was six
They rode on horses made of sticks
He wore black and she wore white
She would always win the fight

Bang bang she shot him down
Bang bang he hit the ground
Bang bang that awful sound
Bang bang Vince Foster hit the ground.

Mansions, limos, seasons blurr,
Slick porked his girls and he porked her
Yet she would always laugh and say
Remember when we used to play

Bang bang I shot you down
Bang bang you hit the ground
Bang bang that awful sound
Bang bang Vince Foster hit the ground....

Power, money, intrigue and
the one day trips to Switzerland
Unlaundered money in a bag
So heavy that it made him sag

and then that final, fateful day,
he knew too much, and heard her say

Bang Bang.......

A lot less than $2.5 billion can buy A LOT of voter fraud.

Voter fraud will be rampant next year. You know the Democrats are working night and day on this. I pray the Republicans are planning a stiff response. Otherwise Killary will win.

the AVERAGE democrat voter is COMPLETELY blind to Hillarys criminal and questionable actions. They see NOTHING but a ‘vast right-wing conspiracy’ who make up ALL these lies about her.

You are correct. The posted article is wrong. She will be the nominee.

The best we can hope for is that she has a challenger that will pull dem primary voters away from repub primary contests.

Hillary is going to team up with Julian Castro. Add to that the Marxist vote fraud machine that re-elected Obola, and Ted Cruz has an uphill battle.
