Secret US memo for Congress seen by Mail On Sunday says Britain's 'special relationship' with America is over
Washington believes that the special relationship between Britain and the US is over, according to a secret briefing document seen by The Mail on Sunday.
The memo for members of Congress states damningly that the UK may not be viewed as centrally relevant to the United States in all of the issues and relations considered a priority on the US agenda.
Dated April 2015 and drawn up to brief the Senate and House of Representatives on the impact of Britains General Election, the memo also warns that the UK faces turmoil if there is a hung parliament.

Any one of them signifies the end of my life.

There is little doubt that our postings will be used
against us at trial, but we must speak out.
Seath to Traitors and Tyrants!
Restore the Constitution!
Death to Traitors.
Always preview.
Trial?
What trial?
I said my death, not my trial.
Well, I should have rephrased that.
For some there will be no trials.
Only the high profile that can be used as examples
for the sheep.
It’s all been done before, first they started with
the farmers, this time it will be the middle class.
And Cuba.
Well, the American people got what they voted for.
1—UK/GB/England are not the same thing.
2—We have not transformed to Islam. 96% of the UK is NOT Muslim, 92% is still white European. Three parts of the UK (Scotland, Wales, NI) have very small/tiny Muslim populations and small ethnic pops in general (not racism, just size and pop). And contrary to myth, great chunks of England still have little or no Muslim pops and small ethnic populations.
We are not brainwashed, the British public is a naturally cynical one, and we don’t fall for such rhetoric, never have. We like America and Americans, but we also remember how quick you were to see the Empire go, and we still remember the Suez stab in the back.
Changed, but not as dead/dying as Americans might think.
Yeah, that wasn’t in the excerpt and, as I said, I don’t like clicking the links that lead to endless pop-up stories. For whatever reason they really clog up my present computer more than they used to. So thanks.
Looks like our intel guys have read the tee leaves and are predicting a big win for UKIP!
Our currant administration will have nothing to do with a conservative UK government.
The US “Special Relationship,” with the UK, with Israel, and with others was “OVER” the day that Barak Obama was sworn in.
But we can get back to it when this atrocity is finally over, and we get an administration that is truly committed to the traditional US interests that have made the USA as a nation, the greatest nation acting as a force for good in history.
right now, and for the last 6+ years, we have had a ringer in the White House whose world view is the antithesis of that.
Perhaps...but they are also right. The odds are that Britain WILL have a hung parliament after May 7th. That means either another coalition government (hard to see); a weak minority government (dependent on constant wheeler-dealing behind the scenes to pass any meaningfull legislation); or another election. All three will cause instability and possibly even civil turmoil.
The United Kingdom is 308 years old, so its doing pretty well by Tytler’s reckoning. However, I think its days are numbered.
I fear you are correct, sadly...
